Kascoplex offers high-quality solid and multiwalled acrylic sheets, also known as Plexiglas or Perspex. These sheets are very popular because of their versatility and durability. They have high UV resistance and remain colourfast for years. As standard, they are available in clear and opal colours, but also in various other colours and patterns.
Kascoplex supplies a double-walled acrylic sheet under the brand name Plexiglas Alltop. This is a highly light-permeable, well-insulating and highly weather-resistant sheet. It is used in particular for industrial buildings and horticultural greenhouses where high light transmission is desired. Whereas a 16 mm double-walled polycarbonate sheet allows around 75-86% light through, the Alltop comes to as much as 91%. In addition, the sheet is available in several variants such as an extra strong one against extreme hailstorms, for example.
Acrylic, also known as Plexiglas or Perspex, is available under its own brand name as 'Kascoplex'. Acrylic is a widely used product in various industries and is actually always used as an alternative to glass. The sheets have high UV resistance and can be used both indoors and outdoors. Kascoplex sheets are particularly resistant to weathering and yellowing and remain colourfast for years. No toxic substances or heavy metals that might pose a risk to the environment or health are used.
The standard colours that Kascoplex always has in stock are: Clear and Opal (milky white). On request, we also supply non-standard colours. The standard thicknesses range from 1.5 mm to 25 mm. The most commonly used thickness is 4 mm, which is always well in stock. Standard sheet sizes are: 3050 x 2050 mm, 1250 x 2280 mm and 1250 x 2580 mm. Thanks to its own sawing service, any size that falls within these can be made. Depending on the desired applications, Kascoplex can inform you which size, colour and thickness is most suitable for you.
